Maine Granite ~ Hand Carved Floating Sculpture

This "Rock Fish" was wonderfully sculpted from Old Quarry Granite sourced from Jay, Maine.

Hand carved and polished by Ron Gelinas. His freely formed designs beautifully compliment the natural pattern of the granite. This floating sculpture is drilled and securely mounted on a slab of Old Quarry Granite using a solid length of steel rod. 

Fun fact: This same quarry provided the Maine granite used to construct President Grant's tomb.
